1st International Summer School on COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY

This meeting is motivated by the development of computational biology as exciting and rapidly growing field of science. We would like to initiate the annual tradition of friendly, informal summer schools for scientists and students interested in these topics. Computational biology is newly established study programme in Masaryk University that needs to encourage mutual communication and exchange of experiences among specialists from different branches and our educational mission is to facilitate and enhance collaboration among postgraduate students and scientists that process biological and clinical data at different levels.
Principal programming aim is to present scientific papers related to the field of computational biology, biostatistics and applied informatics.
The language of summer school is English.
Consequential Conference
The international conference EnviroInfo 2005 (http://www.enviroinfo2005.org/) will take place in Brno from 7th to 9th September in Hotel Voroněž. All the participants of Summer School of Mathematical Biology can visit this conference free of registration fee after their registration on the www pages of the conference. We also want to draw your attention to Tutorial on Ecological Risk Assessment which is prepared by Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses as a part of EnviroInfo 2005 on 6th September.
