International clinical registry of patients with chronic myeloid leukaemia.

The CAMELIA project is an international clinical registry of patients with chronic myeloid leukaemia. The registry was established in order to collect and process basic epidemiological and clinical data (basic records). Furthermore, more detailed information is collected for selected groups of patients (extended records). In particular, the project emphasises the evaluation of cytogenetic and molecular-genetic parameters. Subsequent data analysis offers possible extension to other specific topics, especially in coordination with international projects (European Leukemia Net). The CAMELIA Expert Council is responsible for data interpretation. The project is guaranteed by the Czech Society of Haematology of CMA JEP.
