List of all projects Optimisation of data mining from clinical registries of the Czech National Health Information System (NHIS)

Coordinator Coordinator: Dušek Ladislav

Duration Duration: 2009–2010

Making extensive, extraordinarily valuable data from Czech health registries accessible to a wide range of users – not only for research and publications, but also as a background for economic planning and decision-making.

The project made it possible to make some information contained in health registries accessible to general public. Physicians can now use information contained in health registries for their research and publications, whereas health policymakers can use it as a background for economic planning and decision-making.

  • Funding: The project was supported by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic within the programme “Departmental Programme of Research and Development – MH II from 2008 to 2011”. The project is registered with the identifier NS10621.
  • Brief overview of results: you can find more detailed information – in Czech language only – in the VaVaI information system
