Membership in organizations and institutional cooperation

The Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses is member of the following organizations or closely cooperates with them:

	The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) is a membership association that supports a non-profit mission of education and stimulation of research through meetings, peer-reviewed publications and expert committees on practical issues related to research methods and standards.
	The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) is a nonprofit organization working on a global scale to improve and sustain treatment of people with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. It has been a member of the World Health Organization since 1969 and has national member organizations in more than 100 countries.
	The European Leukemia Network (ELN) associates hundreds of scientists from European countries, who cooperate in the research of different types of leukaemia and are trying to find new, more effective methods of therapy.
	The non-profit organization of Parent Project is a project of parents whose children suffer from DMD/BMD and who have decided to fight together against this incurable disease.
	The project MEFANET (MEdical FAculties Educational NETwork) aims to strengthen the cooperation between Czech medical faculties and to enhance the implementation of modern information and communication technologies in the education of medical disciplines.
	The OECI is an organization of European cancer institutes, aiming to improve the quality of cancer care and translational research in Europe from an organizational viewpoint.
	The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) is a non-governmental, non-profit umbrella organization for national societies working in the field of information processing.
	The International Environmental Modelling and Software Society (iEMSs) is a not-for-profit organization uniting private persons and organizations dealing with environmental modelling, software and related topics.
	Czech Society for Systemic Information (CSSI) associates organizations and individuals providing or using information technology and information services. Since the establishment of the society, CSSI's objective has been to promote the exchange of information and opinions in the field of information systems and ICT.
	Czech Society for Oncology (CSO) is an expert society of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyne (CMA JEP), which associates experts in the field of oncology and seeks to improve health care of cancer patients, among other objectives.
	Czech Society for Analytical Cytology (CSAS) is a voluntary associations of specialists in the field of analytical cytology who seek to enhance the expert potential of Czech laboratories.
	The International Society of Environmental Bioindicators (ISEBI) seeks to explore the scientific bases and uses of environmental bioindicators, i.e., bioindicators and biomarkers, as they relate directly to specific measurable effects in ecological and human populations from environmental exposures.
	The Central and Eastern European Centre for Persistent Organic Pollutants (CEEPOPsCTR) acts as a scientific and technical platform for EU, CEE and NIS countries to bridge and harmonize the national POPs activities at the regional level. The Centre promotes the joint initiatives focused on POPs involving UN Agencies and UN Institutions operating in the field of environmental protection.
